Terms of Service

Effective date: May 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GEX Edge ("Service"), provided by GEX Edge ("we", "us"). By accessing the Service or paying for a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

GEX Edge provides options-market analytics — including gamma exposure (GEX) by strike, gamma-flip levels, and structured commentary — for educational and research purposes. The Service is software. It does not execute trades, hold customer funds, or act as a broker, dealer, or investment adviser.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing displayed by the Service is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or derivative. Options carry significant risk of loss, including the total loss of your premium. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Consult a licensed professional for advice specific to your situation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts and security

You access the Service via a one-time magic-link sent to your email. You're responsible for keeping your email account secure. Anyone with access to your email can request a sign-in link. We don't store passwords.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed via Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Cancel any time inside the dashboard via the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops future billing; access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Prices may change. We'll notify existing subscribers in advance of any change to the price they pay; you can cancel before the new price applies.

6. Refunds

See our refund policy for details on refund eligibility and timing.

7. Acceptable use

  • One person per account. No sharing logins or credentials.
  • Don't scrape, mirror, redistribute, or resell the Service or its outputs without written permission.
  • Don't attempt to bypass our rate limits, authentication, entitlement checks, or upstream-vendor terms.
  • Don't use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Third-party data

The Service relies on options-market data from third-party providers (e.g. FlashAlpha). We don't guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any data, and we are not responsible for outages, changes, or errors at upstream providers.

9. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF DATA.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, including its visual design, code, and content, is owned by us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial trading research. All other rights are reserved.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription via the billing portal.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California (U.S.), without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
